Who we are

La Mama Logistics ("we", "us") is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website.

What we collect

• Contact details you enter in our forms: name, company, email address and phone number.
• Details of the transport you need, such as loads, dates, locations and tonnages.
• Technical information needed to run and protect the site, such as your IP address in server logs and a session cookie.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote, with your consent given on the form.
• To perform and administer any agreement we enter into with you.
• To keep the website secure and prevent abuse of our forms.

We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us operate, such as our website hosting and email providers, under agreements that require them to protect it. Our hosting provider may store information on servers outside South Africa; where that happens we rely on the protections POPIA requires for cross-border transfers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted automatically 24 months after they are closed. Information connected to work we carry out is kept for as long as the law requires for business and tax records.

How we protect it

Information is sent over encrypted connections, stored in a protected database and visible only to authorised staff who need it to handle your enquiry.

Cookies

The site uses one essential cookie to keep forms secure and, for staff, to keep them signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
